Jens Wiatrowski
I was born in 1966.
From 1988 to 1992 I studied computer science at the Technical University Karl-Marx-Stadt / Technical University Chemnitz.
Focuses of my studies were:
- Operating System related applications development
- Heterogeneous networks
- Application Development in TCP / IP networks
Afterwards, as the technology officer at a wholesaler of computer hardware and software I gained first experience with both the real needs of customers in the fields of:
- PC hardware
- SUN hardware
- Installation and configuration of standard software and several operating systems
and in the trading field.
During this period also I created the first Web-based solutions for internal use.
After the job change to the system house SSE / SSE OS, I was responsible in software development and customer support as well as for setting up and administrating of a Point of Presence of an Internet provider.
From 01/01/2000 to 31/12/2008 I was the chief of the software development department at Nutzwerk GmbH.
Among others, there I was responsible for:
- Further development of existing projects
- Installation of the computing infrastructure at the new office location
- Development of new projects
During this time I gathered my first experience with self-employment, which has been my main occupation since 01/01/2009.
